Reminders that arrive early
Local notifications on your own schedule — days before a charge, not the morning after. No push server, so they fire with the phone in flight mode.
RenewAja tracks every subscription, splits the ones you share, and reminds you before the money leaves your account. Everything stays on your phone — no sign-up, no cloud, no sync.
Android. Free to use, supported by ads you can opt out of personalising.
Built for the ten seconds you actually spend in it: one glance, the right number, no dashboard to decode.
Local notifications on your own schedule — days before a charge, not the morning after. No push server, so they fire with the phone in flight mode.
Whether you pay the provider or somebody else does, RenewAja knows which way the money goes — and never shows "still owed to you" against a debt you owe.
Two figures, kept separate on purpose. One projects what your current library commits you to; the other reports what really left your account, month by month.
Totals are grouped by currency and never blended. Converting would need live rates, and RenewAja makes no network calls for your data.
Optional app lock using the fingerprint, face or passcode your phone already trusts. Nothing new to remember, and no way to lock yourself out.
Export a plain JSON file you own, keep it wherever you like, restore it with a preview that shows exactly what will change before anything is written.
Treating both the same inverts every debt and inflates every total. RenewAja stores who is billed, so the numbers stay honest.
The full price leaves your account and your housemates owe you their share. RenewAja tracks who has settled and totals what is still outstanding to you.
Only your share was ever your money. It is what the dashboard commits, what the analytics project, and what spend history records — the provider's price was never yours.
RenewAja has no backend. There is no account to create, no server to sync to, and no analytics pipeline watching what you spend. The app reads and writes a local database on your phone, and that is the whole story.
No. There is no sign-up, no login and no password. Open the app and start adding subscriptions.
Export a backup file from Settings on the old phone, move the file across however you like, and restore it on the new one. The restore shows a preview with real counts — including how many records will be removed — before anything is written.
Entirely. Every screen, every reminder and every calculation runs locally. A connection is only ever used to fetch an ad.
No — and it never asks for the access that would require. RenewAja is not connected to your bank, your email or your app stores. You tell it what you are subscribed to; it makes sure you see the charge coming.
Because adding them would need live exchange rates, and the app makes no network calls for your data. A total in mixed currencies is a made-up number, so RenewAja shows one total per currency instead.
Android first. The codebase is cross-platform, so an iOS build is possible later, but there is no release date to promise.
RenewAja is in closed testing on Google Play. Leave the email address attached to your phone's Play Store and the opt-in link follows within a day or two — no charge, no account inside the app, and you keep everything you add when the public version ships.
Write it down, get reminded, spend less. Free, offline, and yours alone.
